Pastor Joe returned to the Lord on Dec. 5th, 2001 and was sanctified one month later. He was soon called to preach the gospel. Joe has served as a teacher, pastor, and evangelist, but the calling that is most dear to his heart is street evangelism in Mexico.

Pastor Manny Silva has found in his life that trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ in all situations is the key to joy. He became a believer at the age of 18, and the Lord has patiently worked on him for years. He has served the Lord as a Sunday School teacher, a board member, a missions president, and more. "Though I never expected to be a pastor, you learn to say yes to God, and He will teach you."

Julian was wonderfully born again of the Spirit of God in his early 20s, and later experienced a deeper filling of the Holy Spirit at his baptism. As a journalist, he has written for several national Christian magazines, and traveled extensively to report on church-centered initiatives across North America, the Caribbean, Asia, and Africa, where he spent two years volunteering with a mission to street children in Uganda.

In the Spring of 2001, Claudia cried out to the Lord from the depths of her darkness, and the Lord heard her cry and brought her out "into His marvelous light" (I Peter 2:9). Shortly after, she was hired as a secretary and worked with juvenile delinquents. There she met Joe and was influential in leading him back to Christ. She now serves as an administrator and translator for Lighthouse of Holiness.
