Prayer Requests and Updates
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Greetings in the name of the Lord! We have now returned from our deputation and revival services up north and would like to thank all of those who have been praying. We were able to share the mission work and the Word with 8 churches and 1 group who has sewn dresses for girls at the mission. Most importantly, it was great to see both children and adults respond to the Word.
Here are a few updates and requests:
1. We are happy to report that Martín (see picture below) has completed 3 months at the Christian rehab, Outcry in the Barrio (Hood). He hopes to be working with us after a year. Please pray! We are sad to report that his friend, Javier, has returned to the streets.
2. This Saturday, three workers from Lighthouse held a service at the women’s rehab, Mi Ultimo Refugio (My Last Refuge – see picture above). Many of the ladies responded to the message, confessing to anger, bitterness, or jealousy. Please pray for their freedom.
3. Thank you for your prayers for Rita. She has not yet returned to the mission, but we are confident that the Word we have taught “shall not return unto [Him] void” (Is. 55:11).
3. We returned from our deputation with a full car of supplies for Outcry in the Barrio. They are still in need of toiletries, clothing, medicine…etc. Please contact us if you would like to help. Supply trips to the border would be most welcome.
4. We are now about halfway to being fully supported. Thank you to all those who have already made monthly pledges. If you are interested, I have attached pledge cards below. You can also visit our website at www.lighthouseofholiness.com.
5. Pastor Joe will be going to England in March to speak to churches about the mission work. If you are from the UK and would like to schedule him, please contact him at pastorjoes@aol.com. Also, if you would like to help them with traveling expenses (currently his wife is not able to assist him) please contact them (info below). This will also enable them to visit their family who live in England. Thank you again for all your prayers and God bless! In Christ, Pastor Joe Staniforth
